21 Days Kenya Tanzania & Zanzibar Beach Safari

Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu
Depart Nairobi in the morning for Samburu National reserve crossing the Equator and driving through changing terrain to the rugged semi-desert region in the northern Kenya. Though harsh, it is blessed with species rarely found elsewhere. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game drives to search for the Samburu unique game. Dinner and overnight at a campsite.

Day 2: Samburu
Full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives .Search for the rare reticulated giraffe, Grevy's Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Blue necked Somali Ostrich, Vulturine Guinea Fowl, Longneck Gerenuk. Chances of seeing lions on the grass, Cheetah, Leopards among plenty of other plains game are reasonably higher. (Optional visits to Samburu villages can be arranged with your driver). Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 3: Treetops
Breakfast at the lodge and drive to the shoulders of Mt. Kenya arriving at the Outspan Golf & Country Club in Nyeri for lunch. After lunch transfer by lodge vehicle to the Treetops Lodge where from the lodge balcony you view game e.g. elephants, rhino, buffalo and giant forest hog that often visit the floodlit waterhole and saltlick.
Dinner and overnight at Treetops Lodge.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart Treetops lodge for breakfast at Outspan Golf & Country Club where you'll link up with your safari guide and depart for Lake Nakuru via Thompson falls arriving in time for lunch, afternoon game drive at the Pink lake referred to as the Bird watchers paradise for it's thousands of pink flamingos and other birds . It has a surprisingly high number of animals, 4 of the "big five" except the elephant can be seen here. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge/Sarova lion Hill.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National Reserve.
Morning game viewing in the Park Breakfast at the lodge and depart for Maasai Mara crossing the loita plains to Arrive Masai Mara in time for lunch at the Mara Sopa camp. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara leisure camp, Mara sopa lodge

Day 6- 7: Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Morning and afternoon game viewing inside the Park. Searching for wild game black manned lion for which Mara is famous for, cheetah, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, and leopard, grants gazelle are quite common, even the rare rhino might be found, hyenas are plentiful. Between meals there is optional visit to the Masai villages for an insight to their culture if clients so wish. Meals and overnight at a lodge or luxury safari camp.

Day 8: Nairobi
Breakfast at lodge or camp and depart for Nairobi arriving for lunch. Rest of day at leisure. Overnight at hotel

Day 9: Amboseli
Depart Nairobi and proceed to Amboseli at the foot of the mighty snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, Game viewing enroute to the Kibo Safari Camp.Dinner and overnight at Amboseli kibo camp

Day 10: Amboseli
Morning and afternoon game viewing inside the park. Amboseli is a photogenic Park and hosts great number of game including the lion, elephant and the cheetah. Meals and overnight at kibo camp.

Day 11: Ngorongoro
Morning game viewing drive in Amboseli returns to the lodge for breakfast and depart exiting the park through the Meshanani gate. You’ll drive to the Kenya /Tanzania border town of Namanga for immigration formalities to enter Tanzania, cross the border and proceed to Ngorongoro National Reserve via Arusha for Lunch at Kibo Palace hotel. Afternoon proceed to Ngorongoro, Game viewing enroute to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa or wildlife Lodge.

Day 12: Ngorongoro Crater
Depart in the morning after breakfast with picnic lunch descending 2000ft by 4WD vehicles to the crater floor for a full day crater tour. Search for the magnificent black-manned lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and plenty of other wild game exist in great concentration. Lunch at a picnic site inside the crater. Ascend back to Ngorongoro Sopa/wildlife lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 13: Ngorongoro - Serengeti National Park
Breakfast at Ngorongoro Sopa lodge and depart for the vast Serengeti plains National Reserve via Olduvai Gorge, site of the famous archeologist Dr. Leakey where fossils of human and animal believed to be over 2 million years are seen. Lunch enroute arriving Serengeti in the afternoon. Afternoon game viewing inside the Park known to host great herds of plains game. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa/wildlife Lodge.

Day 14: Serengeti National Park
Morning and afternoon game drive inside the Park taking you to different parts of the park famous for the annual migration when millions of wildebeest (gnus) and zebra set off for Maasai Mara in search of better grazing grounds and water, search for numerous plains game. Meals and overnight at Serengeti Sopa/wildlife Lodge.

Day 15: Serengeti - Lake Manyara National Park
Morning game viewing drive in Serengeti. Breakfast and depart for Lake Manyara National Park arriving in time for lunch at Lake Manyara Hotel. Afternoon game viewing drive inside the park, look for a variety of wild game .You are likely to come across the tree-climbing lions which lake manyara national park is famed for. Dinner and overnight at the lake manyara hotel

Day 16: Arusha - Zanzibar
Morning game drive in Lake Manyara and depart for Arusha where you’ll have lunch then Transfer to the Airport for your afternoon flight to Zanzibar .Transfer to Blue Bay Beach Resort & Spa. Rest of day at leisure enjoying optional water activities. Dinner and over night at the Resort

Day 17: Zanzibar
Full day at leisure-enjoying the Beach and optional water activities. Dinner and overnight at Blue Bay Beach resort & Spa or similar

Day 18 - 20: Zanzibar
Transfer to Mnarani Beach Cottages in the north Coast and spend 3 nights.

Day 21: Zanzibar-Departure
Transfer to airport for your flight to Nairobi where you’ll connect to your home bound international flight
