Day 1: Entebbe.

Arrival at Entebbe airport and transfer to Kampala for overnight stay.

Day 2: Kampala –Bwindi

Depart from Kampala by road and head south west to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Have a stop over at the Equator for an informative talk and photos, and continue to Mbarara where you will stop for lunch. You drive through savannah grasslands seeing banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle with their incredible long curving horns. You then ascend into the kigezi highlands, then head higher to where you can see the triangular peaks of the Virunga volcanoes before dropping into a valley, to Bwindi Impenetrable national Park. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort/Campsite

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking

After an early breakfast, report to the ranger station for registration and briefing by one of the ranger guides. Enter the gorilla sanctuary for tracking, pushing your way through the undergrowth and parting thick creepers. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movement of these great giants. If you have the afternoon free, you may decide to take a guided walk on the Munyanga River trail, which is an ideal short walk or take a guided village walk to see how Ugandan live. Return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Bwindi-Kampala

After a morning breakfast, sadly return to Kampala with great memories of and moments spent with the fascinating mountain Gorillas. You will have a stopover in Mbarara for lunch. Drop-off to your respective accommodation in Kampala.

Day 5: Kampala- Malaba-Mara

Depart after breakfast and proceed to Maasai Mara via Malaba border. After migration formatives drive to Maasai Mara arriving late in the evening. Dinner and overnight at a campsite or lodge.

 Day 6 & 7: Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Full days spent exploring the park in search of the big 5 - Optional balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 425 per person. Dinner and overnight stay at a Lodge or Campsite. Mara is famous for, cheetah, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, leopard, grants gazelle are quite common, even the rare rhino might come out of the thicket for you, hyenas are plentiful, Extend your drive to the hippo point where schools of hippo submerge on the approach of vehicles only to surface seconds later to shot and gamble their displeasure as the crocodiles sunbathe on the river banks mouths agape. Between meals there is optional visit to the Maasai villages for an insight to their culture if clients so wish. Meals and overnight at a lodge/ Campsite

Day 8: Mara- Lake Nakuru

Drive after breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru via the Great Rift Valley arriving in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or Campsite.

Day 9: Lake Nakuru- Samburu

Break camp and proceed to Samburu Reserve with pic nic lunches, with game drive enroute Dinner and overnight at a lodge or campsite.

Day 10: Samburu

Enjoy a full day of game viewing along the river banks and surrounding scrublands with time out from the midday sun for leisure stays at the campsite. This is a particularly good place to spot elephant and antelope. Dinner and overnight at a Campsite or lodge.

Day 11: Nairobi

Depart after breakfast and proceed to Nairobi for overnight stay.

Day 12: Amboseli.

Depart Nairobi in the morning for Amboseli National park at the foot of the snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain arriving in time for lunch with an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or campsite.

Day 13: Amboseli

A full day in this photogenic park. Morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight at a Lodge/ Campsite Amboseli means ‘the place of water’ in Maasai language. The park has an endless supply of water which is filtered through thousands of meters of volcanic rock from Mount Kilimanjaro. Animal species seen include elephant, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala and leopard. The birdlife seen here includes pelican, bee eater, kingfisher, African fish eagle and pygmy falcon. Amboseli is one of the most popular parks and offers excellent accommodation facilities

Day 14: Amboseli-Arusha-Ngorongoro.

Depart and head south to Tanzania via Namanga border, after migration formalities proceed to Ngorongoro with a stop in Arusha for lunch. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or campsite at the crater rim.

Day 15: Ngorongoro Crater

Descend to the crater for a full day game drives with pic nic lunches. Ascend in the evening, dinner and overnight at a lodge or campsite.

Day 16: Ngorongoro –Serengeti

Depart in the morning and proceed to Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge. Dinner and overnight at a campsite or lodge.

Day 17: Serengeti

Full day in the park in search of game. Dinner and overnight at a campsite or lodge.

Day 18: Serengeti-Lake Manyara

Depart Serengeti with pic nic lunches and head south to Lake Manyara with game drive enroute. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or campsite.

Day 19: Lake Manyara-Arusha.

Morning games drives and later proceed to Arusha for overnight stay.

Day 20: Kilimanjaro -Zanzibar.

Transfer to the Airport for morning flight to Zanzibar. Overnight at a hotel

Day 21 & day 22: Zanzibar.

 Full day at leisure-enjoying the Beach and optional water activities. Dinner and overnight at a hotel.

Day 23: Zanzibar-Nairobi.

 Morning at leisure with an afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight to Nairobi to board your home bound flight.
