AASKL008: 6 Days Amboseli/ Tsavo East/ Tsavo West/ Mombasa

Day 1: Amboseli
Nairobi in the morning and drive via Namanga, on the Tanzania border, to the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro where Amboseli is situated. After a stopover lunch we proceed into the scenic Amboseli National Park with game drive enroute to the lodge.

Day 2 – Amboseli
The days are spent viewing game and bird life with game drives in the morning and afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

The waters from melted snow drain down the mountain under lava flows and surface on the Amboseli plains, creating a green belt of swampland amidst dusty plains. The following games are likely to be seen elephant, buffalo, lion, cheetah, wildebeest, hyena, jackal, warthogs, zebra and the Maasai giraffe.

Day 3 - Tsavo West
Depart after breakfast for Tsavo West National Park. Visit the Chyulu Hills and the Mzima Springs (If time allows), which are favorite haunts of both the hippo and crocodile that can be seen from an underwater observation chamber if time permits. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Tsavo West covers a wide variety of landscapes, from swamps and natural springs to rocky peaks, extinct volcanic cones and rolling plains. The dramatic Chyulu Hills are a collection of ancient volcanic cinder cones with splendid views of Kilimanjaro and populations of elands, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest.

Day 4 - Tsavo West
Day spent exploring the park including the nature trails. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Look out for the white-bellied go-away bird, red-beaked hornbills and bateleur Eagles. There are also large populations of elephants, zebras and leopards.

Day 5 – Tsavo East
We depart and drive to Tsavo East. This park was famed for its large herds of elephant covered in red dust and fine scenery.

Day 6 – Mombasa
Early morning game drive. Soon after breakfast we proceed to Mombasa arriving there in good time.

AASKL009: 6 Days Amboseli National park/Lake Nakuru National park/Maasai Mara

Day 1: Amboseli National Park.
Depart Nairobi for Amboseli arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park
Full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drive (optional visits to Maasai villages). All meal and overnight at lodge.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart Amboseli in the morning Via Nairobi for lunch and drive to the Great Rift Valley viewing sceneries enroute, arriving to the Pink Lake often referred so due to its Great masses of Flamingos. Arrival is in the early evening and proceeds for game drive. Dinner and overnight at a Lodge.

Day 4: Maasai Mara
Morning game drive, Watch and photograph Birds and Animals, breakfast and depart for Masai Mara, Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

Day 5: Maasai Mara
Full day in Masai Mara. Morning and afternoon game drive. Meals and overnight at lodge.

Day 6: Maasai Mara - Nairobi.
Pre-breakfast game drive. Return to campsite for breakfast. After breakfast break up the camp and depart for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.
