14 Days Adventure Bird Watching

Day 1: Nairobi
Transfer to the airport upon arrival in Nairobi with a drop at Comfort Inn Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Nairobi- Naivasha
Depart Nairobi and drive via the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Naivasha.
An alternative visit to Hell's Gate National Park near Lake Naivasha would be ideal.
Explore Hell's Gate either by foot or mountain bike. This park is renowned for it being the breeding ground for vultures, verreaux's Eagle, and Augur Buzzard. It's also the home for 103 recorded species of birds. Activities include bird-watching, game walks and an option for a boat ride (at additional cost). Dinner and overnight at the Fish Eagle Inn campsite/ Naivasha  Sopa lodge

Day 3:Naivasha- Lake Nakuru
Depart after break fast and proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch with an afternoon bird walking /game drive tour. A fresh water lake, characterized by countless number of flamingoes and over 300 species of birds also a Rhino sanctuary. Meals and overnight at Lake Nakuru Guest House/ Flamingo Hill Camp.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru-Bogoria
Early morning game drive and explore this Birdlife paradise later exit the park and head to Lake Bogoria National Reserve arriving in time for lunch. Meals and overnight at the campsite/lodge

Day 5: Bogoria - Lake Baringo
After breakfast drive off to Lake Bogoria and pitch a tent at Robert's campsite.

Enroute, there will be a thrilling bird-watching and even further bird-watching around the lake, where there is super eco-system. Place famed for mass crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at campsite/lodge

Day 6: Baringo - Mt. Elgon
After early morning breakfast, take a boat ride, at an additional small fee to explore further the bird and animal world. Mid-morning, proceed to Kabarnet and Iten through Kerio Valley ending up at Mt. Elgon National Park. All meals and overnight at campsite/lodge.

These unique birds habitant and animal sanctuary is a place not to be missed by any ardent birder. Occasional nature trails, game watching and explore caves, popular meeting places of elephants. Meet elephant's duped ''underground elephants''.

Day 7: Mt. Elgon-Kakamega
Morning departure to Kakamega, to a world-class birds' sanctuary. Thick forest and beautiful forest canopy, ideal for nature walk, punctuated by melodious cries of animals and wide variety of birds well beyond 400 species. Meals and overnight at campsite/lodge

Day 8: Kakamega
Full day in Kakamega forest to explore the striking flora and fauna. Wonderful indigenous trees which is a pride of the Luhya people. Lunch will be a picnic in the most natural setting to get a closer feel of nature. Dinner and overnight at campsite/lodge

Day 9: Kakamega-Kisumu
Depart soon after breakfast and drive to Kisumu arriving late afternoon with pic nic lunches. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Kisumu town

Day 10: Kisumu/Rusinga Island
Depart Kisumu town to Rusinga Island arriving for lunch. Your stay in Kenya is only complete with a visit to this paradise island located within the second highest fresh water lake in the world and the source of river Nile-the Lake Victoria. Dinner and overnight at Rusinga Island lodge or campsite.

Day 11: Kisumu-Kericho
After breakfast proceed for bird watching at Lake Victoria shores and then at Dunga Fisherman's co-operative society. After lunch in Kisumu town proceed to Kericho town. Time to watch the rolling and undulating ridges of green carpet of highland tea estates. The home of the finest world tea leaves. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Kericho.

Day 12: Kericho -Masai Mara
After early breakfast, depart for Maasai Mara, Africa's jewel of wildlife.
Spend the day game viewing. Dinner and overnight at a lodge/campsite.

Day 13: Masai Mara full day
A day full of activities; game viewing, game walking, nature trail, bird watching, hot balloon flights and cultural visits (the last two at an extra fee). Meals and overnight lodge/camp site.

Day 14: Masai Mara - Nairobi
After breakfast, depart for Nairobi, arriving in early afternoon with a drop at your hotel or airport to board your home bound flight.
