DAY 1: Kampala - Queen Elizabeth National Park
Head west from Kampala through magnificent hill county and lush cultivation.
You pass through the market town of Masaka after stopping at the equator
for photographs. Stopping for lunch in Mbarara. Enjoy a game drive when
you enter the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park. Dinner and overnight
at the beautifully situated Mweya Safari Lodge.
DAY 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park
A guided walk takes you into the tropical Kyambura Gorge in search of
chimpanzees. This hike involves climbing. In this unspoiled environment,
birds and butterflies are all around, and you might also see primates.
After lunch, take the launch trip up Kizinga Channel, which separates
Lakes Edward and George, viewing a variety of game on the banks. Dinner
and overnight at Mweya Safari lodge.
DAY 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park - Kampala
After an early morning game drive and breakfast, tour the volcanic area
of the park with its many salt lakes and extinct craters. Return to
Kampala by early evening.
NB. Extra nights at Mweya Safari Lodge with excursions are available
upon request, or combine QENP with gorillas or chimpanzees in other
Ugandan parks.

Day 1 Kampala - Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast you will picked from your hotel or residence and depart
for Lake Mburo National Park stopping at Mpigi crafts and the Equator
crossing. Arrive in time for lunch stop in Mbarara and then proceed
to Queen Elizabeth National Park. As you descend to the park stop for
good scenery point of the rift valley and Rwenzori mountains. Arrive
in the evening and check in at Mweya Safari Lodge or Institute Hostel
for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will go for Chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge
where you will see not only the chimpanzee but also other primates like
the colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys plus baboons. Return to the lodge
for lunch and after you will take an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga
Channel where you will see a variety of game mostly marine animals.
This waterway joins Lake Edward and Lake George and it is filled with
schools of hippos, buffaloes, with elephants at the banks. Queen Elizabeth
National Park is one of the most outstanding treasures of Uganda, and
has been designated a Biosphere Reserve for Humanity under UNESCO auspices.
If time allows take an evening game drive to the crater area. Retire
to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park - Murchison
Falls Game Park
Check out of the lodge carryout morning game drive to catch-up with
the early risers and predators – lion, leopard, returning to their
hideouts. You will be likely to meet grazing, elephants, spotted hyenas
and leopards, bushbucks, water buck and stripped jackal, and of-course
the several warthogs. Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park with
packed lunch or stopping in Hoima for lunch . Proceed to Murchison falls
arriving in the evening.Check in at Paraa safari Lodge or Sambiya River
Lodge or Nile safari camp .

Day 4: Murchison Falls Game Park
Start the day with an early morning game drive on the Buligi, Albert
or Queens tracks north of the river Nile. You are able to view those
animals that are unique to the African Savannah like lion, leopard,
giraffe, antelope, elephant, and many warthogs. After lunch, you will
go for a launch cruise on the Nile River. The cruise takes to the bottom
of the thundering falls where you will see huge crocodiles, schools
of hippos, buffaloes, elephants and a variety of water birds like herons,
cormorants, ducks, bee-eaters, kingfishers, skimmers, fish eagle and
the rare shoebill. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Murchison Falls Game Park - Kampala
On this day before you leave the park, visit the “Top of the falls”
and proceed to Kampala.
